Jan Stanisław Skorupski (born July 18, 1938 in Łoszniów, Podolia ) is a Polish writer , poet and essayist .

Life

Skorupski performs a variety of activities. Among other things, he is a teacher of music, mathematics and philosophy, director of an art gallery and a theater and co-founder of the international artist group nula horo and the Esperanto-PEN-Centro . Furthermore he is or was active as a farmer, ship captain, graphic artist, photo reporter and jewelry manufacturer as well as in mining. He is the author of several books and CDs and has participated in numerous radio broadcasts. His texts appear in German , Polish and Esperanto . In 1956 Skorupski received the Young Poets Prize in Warsaw. He is a Swiss citizen and lives in Zurich .

In 1997 Jan Stanisław Skorupski was listed in the German edition of the Guinness Book of Records as the author of most of the sonnets (page 177): Most of the sonnets were written down by the Polish writer Jan Stanisław Skorupski, who lives in Zurich (CH): he wrote 732 poems in from January 1st to November 3rd 1995 in two languages ​​each, Polish and Esperanto . "
