Jan Starý (born February 7, 1986 in Pardubice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Pardubice in the Czech extra league since 2004 .
Career
Jan Starý began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of HC Pardubice , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Czech extra league in the 2004/05 season . In his rookie year , the winger prepared a goal in four games. In the following three seasons he received more ice time in the extra league team of HC Pardubice, where he ran parallel for the KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec and the HC VCES Hradec Králové in the second-rate 1st division to collect match practice. He has been a regular at HC Pardubice since 2008 and won the Czech championship title with the team in the 2009/10 and 2011/12 seasons .
International
For the Czech Republic Starý took part in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2009 .
