Jan Thoresen (born December 1, 1968 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian curler .

Thoresen made his international debut at the 1997 Junior World Championships in Karuizawa , where he won a bronze medal.

Thoresen played as the third of the Norwegian team in the XVIII. Winter Olympics in Nagano in curling. Skip Eigil Ramsfjell's team won the Olympic bronze medal after a 9-4 victory in the game for 3rd place against the USA under Skip Tim Somerville .
