Jan Větrovec

Jan Větrovec (born November 26, 1980 ) is a former Czech handball player and current coach . His body length is 1.84 m.

Větrovec played in the 1998/99 season with HC Kovopetrol Pilsen in the EHF Champions League . In the 2005/2006 season he played with Dukla Prague in the European Cup Winners' Cup . In the summer of 2006 he moved to the German second division club SG Leutershausen , which however had to file for bankruptcy six weeks later. Then Větrovec joined the second division TV Bittenfeld . In 2008 he moved to the upper league for the Stuttgart Kickers HV . In 2010 he moved to VfL Waiblingen in the league. From November 2010 he also worked there as a youth coach, from January 2011 he took over the position of player coach . In 2012 Větrovec left VfL Waiblingen. In 2014 Větrovec ended his playing career due to injury. Větrovec has been the trainer of the HV Oberviechtach since summer 2015.

Větrovec has played an international match for the Czech national team .

Větrovec was used as a right back and right winger .

Větrovec is a trained industrial mechanic and graduated from Pilsen as a sports teacher .

Větrovec is married.
