Jan Van De Wiele (born November 3, 1948 in Scheldewindeke , Flanders ) is a former Belgian cyclist . He was a professional from 1971 to 1974.

Career

Van De Wiele was able to win three races in 1969 and 1970 and in 1969 took second place in the Tour of Belgium for amateurs. He won the Tour de Liège in July 1971 and became a professional with the Flandria-Mars team from August 10th .

He started a total of five Grand Tours , where he achieved the best result at the Vuelta a España 1974 with 18th place. He ended his career in 1974.
