Jan Zweyer

Jan Zweyer , actually Rüdiger Richartz (born December 12, 1953 in Frankfurt am Main ), is a German writer.

Life

Zweyer grew up in Bad Oeynhausen and initially studied architecture in Bochum and Dortmund and then completed a further degree in social sciences at the Ruhr University Bochum. He then worked as a research assistant at the university. Between these two studies he worked as a freelance journalist for WAZ and in various functions in industrial companies.

Now Zweyer works exclusively as a freelance writer. Zweyer writes crime fiction, both short stories and novels, which mostly take place in the Ruhr area and are very popular in North Rhine-Westphalia due to their realistic descriptions.
