Jan van Mieris (born June 17, 1660 in Leiden , † March 17, 1690 in Rome ) was a Dutch genre and portrait painter of the Baroque .
Life
He was a student of his father Frans van Mieris the Elder. Ä. and painted in his style and that of his brother Willem van Mieris , with whom he is often confused.
