Jana Linke (born June 7, 1990 ) is a German soccer player .
Soccer
The defender came from ESV Freiburg to SC Freiburg in 2005 , went through the U17s and the top division team (SC Freiburg II) until she was promoted to the Bundesliga squad in 2008.
She made her debut in the DFB-Pokal on August 31, 2008 in the game of SC Freiburg at the regional division 1. FFC Montabaur (final score 0: 6). Linke was substituted on for the injured Juliane Maier in the 70th minute of the game under somewhat strange circumstances . Coach Alexander Fischinger actually wanted to replace Noémie Freckhaus , but at the time she was indisposed.
She made her debut in the Bundesliga on October 5th when she played 1. FFC Frankfurt vs. SC Freiburg came on in the 77th minute for Nadine Enoch . Over the course of the season, Linke succeeded as a regular player in the Bundesliga and formed the youngest central defense in the Bundesliga with Valeria Kleiner .
