Jando
Jens Koch (born July 16, 1970 in Oldenburg (Oldb) ) is a German scriptwriter and writer in the field of fiction, who became known under the pseudonym Jando .
Life
Jens Koch learned in gastronomy. He made up his Abitur through a second educational path and studied German, sports and history for teaching at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . During this time he wrote his first essays, poems and short stories, which were published in anthologies .
In 1998, he went to Cologne, where he at the subsidiary of RTL Television , CREATV TV Produktions GmbH, a traineeship as a manager made. Two years later he completed a traineeship as an editor at RTL .
In 2002 Koch published his first book "Windträume" under his real name at a printing subsidy publisher . Due to bad experiences with the service provider, he terminated the contract. From 2002 to 2008 he worked as creative director at the full-service agency 4 magic events in Bremen.
In 2010 Jando's first book and audio book “Windträume ... a miraculous journey to oneself” was published by a regular publisher. In the 2011 Christmas edition on Christmas Eve , his short story “Star Rider” was published in the Nordwest-Zeitung . From the short story, the modern fairy tale "Star Rider - Little Stars Shine Forever" was created, which was published in 2012 as a hardback .
In 2013 the South Korean publisher Penguin Cafe Publishing secured the rights to the book “Star Rider”. In 2016 the title was published on the South Korean book market. During the Christmas season 2014, the Nordwest-Zeitung published Jando's short story “The Little Christmas Bakery” on the full page. The BILD newspaper published the eponymous audio book of the story in 2017. In their print edition they pointed out that the Christmas story can be heard as a podcast on their website.
Jando is socially committed to the children's aid organization Ein Herz für Kinder and to the animal rights organization PeTA . Jando lives in Bad Zwischenahn . His mother is the author Hilka Koch .
