Jane Ray

Jane Ray (* 1960 in Chingford , North East London ) is a British illustrator .

Life

Jane Ray studied ceramics and 3D design at Middlesex University . Her first illustration was a series of greeting cards for Roger La Borde . She achieved her big breakthrough in 1991 with the book "Noah's Ark". The colorful, folkloric style of Jane Ray has met with great approval worldwide. She mainly illustrates books, but also posters and postcards.

Jane Ray lives in London with her husband, the conductor David Temple , and their three children.
