Janina Meißner (born February 22, 1995 in Kandel ) is a German soccer player .

Career

society

Meißner started playing soccer at SV 1946 Minfeld and came to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in 2010 via SV RW Göcklingen . There she first played for the B-Juniors, with whom she won the German championship in 2012 . On August 28, 2011, she made her debut in the second division match against 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen for Hoffenheim's first team. In 2013 she was promoted to the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim as champions of the 2nd Bundesliga South. On September 15, 2013 she came into the game in the 1: 4 defeat against FCR 2001 Duisburg in the 69th minute for Silvana Chojnowski and thus to her first Bundesliga appearance.

After the 2013/14 season, Meißner said goodbye in Hoffenheim and announced her move to SGS Essen a short time later. After her contract expired in the summer of 2016, Meißner left SGS Essen .

National team

Meißner played on May 24, 2010 with the game of the U-15 national team against Norway for the first time a game for a junior selection of the German Football Association and a year later took part in the Nordic Cup with the U-16 juniors . In 2012 she was part of the German U-17 team that won the U-17 European Championship in Nyon .
