Janka Rohrberg (born March 2, 1988 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player.
Career
In her youth she played at the Hamburg Eimsbütteler Ballspiel Club and in several Hamburg national teams. In 2004 Rohrberg moved to the Bundesliga women's team at Hamburger SV .
In 2003 the left defender received an invitation to the U15 national team of the German Football Association . Born in Hamburg, she made her debut for Germany on May 6, 2003, in a 1-0 win against the Netherlands. Another 14 appearances in the U17 national team followed.
The greatest success in the student's career so far was winning the 2005 Nordic Cup in Norway . Rohrberg, however, was seriously injured at this tournament and had to pause for several months because of an operation on the cruciate ligament . She had to break off the comeback attempt after a few weeks: The injured knee could not withstand the load, Rohrberg suffered a renewed tear of the cruciate ligament.
After a long break, Rohrberg played 4 games for HSV in 2010, making a total of 13 Bundesliga appearances.
