Shōtarō Ishinomori received the 33rd Shōgakukan Manga Prize and the 17th Japan Cartoonists Association Award for Japan GmbH in 1988 . The plant was also commercially successful and led to the emergence of many other tangible gas.
Jason Thompson calls the manga rather weak narrative and overloaded in terms of content. The story jumps back and forth in time and place, repeatedly interrupted by long explanatory pieces. Only the well-hit Ronald Reagan is positive .
