The Japanese men's national bandy team represents Japan at international bandy games .

history

In April 2011, the National Bandy Association of Japan ( 日本 バ ン デ ィ 連 盟 , Nihon Bandi Renmei ) was founded. In 2012, the Japanese selection made its debut at the World Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan . Japan started in group C and met Estonia and Kyrgyzstan. The first World Cup game against the Estonians lost Japan 2: 6. After two clear victories against Kyrgyzstan and a draw in the second leg against Estonia, Japan won the game for 13th place against Kyrgyzstan 4-0.

In 2013 in Vetlanda , Sweden , Japan won three times against Ukraine, including the two games for 13th place. At the 2014 World Cup in Irkutsk , Japan remained in the B group of the B World Cup with three wins and one draw without defeat. In the finals of the B-WM you reached the small final, in which you lost against Hungary 2-6. Japan finished 12th in the end.
