Jardena Flückiger

Jardena Flückiger (born in Basel ) is a Swiss opera singer . She sings in the soprano voice .

Life

Jardena Flückiger studied singing at the Basel University of Music with Verena Schweizer and graduated with "distinction". She then studied at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Julie Kaufmann and graduated in 2011 with a master's degree in opera singing. She attended master classes with Hans Peter Blochwitz , Malin Hartelius and Margreet Honig .

In the 2012/2013 season she made her debut as Norina in Don Pasquale and at the Freiburg Theater as the flower girl in Parsifal .

Her repertoire includes Amor in Orfeo ed Euridice (at the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg ), Pamina in Die Zauberflöte , Berenice in L'occasione fa il ladro , Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier , Princesse in L'enfant et les sortilèges and Blanche in Dialogues des Carmélites .

Jardena Flückiger also sings concerts. She was a guest at the Forum Neuer Musik at Deutschlandradio in Cologne and at the Konzerthaus Berlin . In 2013 she was a member of the International Opera Workshop with Peter Konwitschny and, together with Julius Drake, a guest at the Festival CullyClassique . In the summer of 2014 she made her debut in the role of Lisetta in the Swiss premiere of La gazzetta at the St. Moritz Opera Festival .

Jardena Flückiger has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Vorpommern since the 2015/16 season. She is involved in the productions there as Frasquita in Carmen , Norina in Don Pasquale , Julia de Weert in Der Vetter aus Dingsda , Oscar in A Masked Ball , Margarethe in Faust , a Shepherd in Tannhäuser and the Singers' War in Wartburg , Lisa in Jekyll & Hyde .
