Jarosław Kamiński (film editor)
Jarosław Kamiński (born November 13, 1960 in Łódź ) is a Polish film editor .
Life
Jarosław Kamiński studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Łódź until 1987 . In the same year he began his film studies with a focus on editing at the film and television faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague . In 1991 he received his doctorate there. Kamiński has been a lecturer at the State University of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź since 1992 . From 1996 to 1999 he was vice dean of the faculty.
Kamiński is a founding member of the Polish Association of Film Editors ( Polskie Stowarzyszenie Montażystów ), which he served as president from 2011 to 2013. He is a member of the Polish Film Academy (PAF) and the European Film Academy (EFA).
