occupation

Your Name is Justine ( Polish : Masz na imię Justine ) is a Polish-Luxembourg film drama from 2004, starring Mathieu Carrière , among others . action

The film is about 18 year old Mariola, who lives in a small town and dreams of a better life. She is in love with Artur, who is a few years older and has lived in Berlin for a long time . He invites her on vacation to show her Berlin and at the same time introduce her to his family. When Mariola makes her way to Artur, she has no idea that he owes a lot to his colleagues and cannot pay them. As soon as Mariola arrives, she is sold as a prostitute to settle the debt.

criticism

“The story is pretty simple and has been told many times: the folly of blind youthful love and the pitfalls and breaches of trust that come with it. But the powerful script and the short dialogues keep the audience's attention. He waits breathlessly for the expected in the hope that it will not happen. "
