Jarud banner
The Jarud banner ( Chinese 扎鲁特旗 , Pinyin Zālǔtè Qí ; Mongolian ᠵᠠᠷᠤᠳ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Jarud qosiɣu ) is a banner of the prefecture-level city of Tongliao in the southeast of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regionin the northeast of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 17,193 km² and has a population of 300,000 (2004). Its main town is the municipality of Lubei (鲁北 镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the banner is composed of eight large communities , one community and eleven Sum .
