The Jasień is with a height of 1052 m after the Mogielica and the Ćwilin the third highest mountain in the Beskydy Islands in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . The mountain is located in the north of the valley of the Kamienica , a tributary of the Dunajec , in the southeast of the small town Mszana Dolna in the powiat Limanowski .

Access

  • Jasień is reached on a marked path from Mogielnica on the way to the Przysłop Lubomierski Pass; the walking time to the pass is 3:20 hours (yellow marking).
  • Another path reaches the summit from Mszana Dolna via the low Ogorzała peak (806 m) in 5:30 h (green marking).
