Jasmina Sakr

Jasmina Sakr (* in Vienna ) is an Austrian musical , opera and operetta singer ( soprano ).

Life

Jasmina Sakr grew up in Vienna as the daughter of an Egyptian and a Viennese. She graduated from the Vienna Musikgymnasium , trained in dance and studied music theater with training in musicals, operettas and chansons at the Vienna Conservatory until 2005 .

In 2003 and 2004 she won the Vienna Fidelio Competition of the Hugo Breitner Society for the promotion of young women artists at the Vienna Conservatory.

Sakr was a member of the ensemble at the Vienna Volksoper and had numerous appearances in operettas and musicals. Sakr played in Bonifatius in Fulda and Bremen, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the Raimund Theater in Vienna , Liesel in The Sound of Music at the Volksoper, in Grillparzer slightly shortened at the Stockerau Summer Festival , and Maria an den in the West Side Story Bregenz Festival , at the Stadttheater der Bühne Baden and at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Klara in Heidi Part 2 in Switzerland, Margarethe in In nomine patris at the Deutsches Theater in Munich and Esmeralda in The Bartered Bride at the Jennersdorf Opera Festival . In 2013 she played Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at the Komische Oper Berlin , and in spring 2014 Hedi in Two Hearts in three-four time . In 2014 and 2014 she appeared in the operetta Wiener Blut at the Munich State Theater on Gärtnerplatz .
