Career
Naidovski was born in 1989 to Macedonian parents in Adelaide, Australia, and began playing soccer at a local club when he was five. From the age of 12, he played for the Bankstown City Lions , a football club particularly deeply rooted in the Macedonian community. He later played in the youth department of the Marconi Stallions for two years before receiving a scholarship to the NSW Institute of Sport . At the age of 16 he made his debut for Marconi's first team in the New South Wales Premier League .
In 2007 and 2008 Naidovski received a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport before signing a professional contract with A-League club Newcastle United Jets . Through his participation with the Australian selection in the U-19 Asian Cup 2008 , in which the Australian team qualified for the Junior World Cup 2009 , he was two months away during the current season. A few weeks after his league debut, he seriously injured his knee in early December and was out for the rest of the season, making him only three appearances in his debut season.
