Jasper Vogt (born May 10, 1945 in Bevensen, today Bad Bevensen ) is a German actor , musician and author .
Life
After graduating from high school in Hamburg, he first studied literature, German and musicology, at the same time completed an acting training (Hamburgisches Schauspielstudio Hildburg Frese, final exam 1969) and also played various plays for two years at the St. Pauli Theater Hamburg. He then worked for a short time as a freelance actor (Theater für Kinder Hamburg, Theater im Zimmer Hamburg, Theater Kiel, Contra-Kreis-Theater Bonn, Landesbühne Bad Hersfeld, several roles for TV and cinema) and then began studying music at the Hochschule für Music in Hamburg (graduation as music teacher, final grade one with distinction). At the same time he got a soloist contract at the Hamburg State Opera for the world premiere of the play "Staatstheater" by Mauricio Kagel. He then went on tour in Europe, Asia and North and South America with the "Cologne Ensemble for New Music Theater" founded by Kagel.
Then he said goodbye to his artistic activities and began studying law in 1974. In 1975 he made a brief guest appearance at the theater for children as an actor and the newly founded theater "Das Schiff" by Eberhard Möbius as a musician. In 1976 he was brought in by the Hamburg Ohnsorg Theater, to which he was a permanent member from 1978, as an actor and musical director. He then gave up studying law.
Since then he has worked as an actor and speaker for theater, radio and television, audio books and advertising, as a producer and as a freelance writer in both High German and Low German, etc. a. for the NDR (including Listen to 'n pray to), for Die Welt and the Hamburger Abendblatt (Low German columns) as well as for private radio stations. In 1995 he developed the comedy character “Frisör Dieter” (almost 700 episodes in total) for Radio Hamburg and the comedy character “Helene Hoyer” (almost 400 episodes in total) in 1999 for NDR 90.3; he was both an author and a speaker for both.
Since 1984 he has appeared with various solo programs, Low German, North German, crime thriller reading, Hans Albers (“Oops, now comes Hans”, premiere 1999) and since 2017 with the program “Von Ringelnatz und Waterkant”.

This association still organizes tandem tours with the blind, visually impaired and sighted. For this commitment he was named amateur athlete of the year in Baden-Baden in 1986 (alongside Boris Becker and Steffi Graf as athlete of the year). After a 14,000-kilometer motorcycle tour from Hamburg to Shanghai in 2006, Jasper Vogt founded the company Namipenda GmbH in 2008, which organizes classic car rallies around the world, for example in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, India, Cambodia and Uzbekistan.
