Yassachnaya
The Yassachnaja ( Russian Ясачная , Yakut Дьаһаак ) is a left tributary of the Kolyma in Siberia ( Russia , Asia ). Together with its source river Rechts Jassatschnaja ( Правая Ясачная , Prawaja Jassatschnaja) it has a length of 490 km.
The Jassachnaja rises in the eastern foothills of the Chersky Mountains in Magadan Oblast and, after leaving the mountains, flows through the Kolyma lowlands in the east of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) . In the lower reaches it forms river arms and finally flows into the Kolyma at the settlement Syrjanka .
The catchment area covers 35,900 km². The mean monthly water flow at Nelemnoye (55 km, according to other data 80 km above the mouth) is 329 m³ / s (minimum in March: 17.8 m³ / s, maximum in June: 1,222 m³ / s). The river is mainly fed by meltwater and is frozen from October to late May / early June.
The Yassachnaja is navigable from the mouth to Nelemnoye (55 km and 80 km respectively).
The main tributaries are Omuljowka (Russian Омулёвка ), Olguja ( Олгуя ), Rassocha ( Рассоха ) and Gonjucha ( Гонюха ), all from the left.
