Jatni (also Jatani or Khurda Road ) is a city in the east of the Indian state of Odisha .
Jatni is located in the Khordha district . The city is located in the coastal plain 17 km southwest of Bhubaneswar , the capital of Odisha. The district capital Khordha is located 8 km west of Jatni. The Bhubaneswar railway line to the south runs through Jatni. This is where the Khurda Road Junction train station is located .
Residents
Jatni has the status of a municipality and is divided into 23 wards . At the 2011 census, Jatni had 55,925 inhabitants.
