Jay Aston Emmanuel-Thomas (born December 27, 1990 in London ) is an English football player .

Career

society

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas learned to play football in the youth teams of Arsenal FC in London. Here he signed his first contract in 2008. From 2009 to 2011 he was loaned to various clubs. In 2009 he played for Blackpool FC , which played in the Football League Championship , the country's second division . A year later he moved to league rivals Doncaster Rovers . He was loaned to Wales in 2011. Here he played for in Cardiff -based City Cardiff , also in the Football League Championship. He signed a new contract in 2011 with second division club Ipswich Town in Ipswich . Here he played 71 games and scored eight goals. In 2013 he moved to league rivals Bristol City , where he played 82 games and scored 24 goals. In 2015 he moved to the Premier League relegated Queens Park Rangers . Here he was loaned to Milton Keynes Dons and Gillingham FC from 2016 to 2017 . Both clubs played in the third division, Football League One . In 2019 he went to Asia and signed a contract with the first division club PTT Rayong FC in Thailand . In the Hinserie he was used eleven times and scored one goal. He has been without a club since mid-2019.

National team

From 2007 to 2008 he ran five times for the England U-17 national team . Twice, from 2008 to 2009, he wore the jersey of the England U-19 national team .
