Jay Underwood (born October 1, 1968 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is an American actor and pastor .

Career

Underwood began his career as a teenager in the mid-1980s and played leading roles in films, including as Eric Gibb in The Boy Who Could Fly , Chip Carson in Not Quite Human , Grover Dunn in The Invisible Kid , Sonny Bono in The Sonny and Cher Story or Motte in Alone with Uncle Buck .

Underwood's last appearance so far was in the 2010 film No Greater Love .

Underwood served as a junior high pastor for the Calvary Bible Church in Burbank from August 2005 to June 2007 while attending Master's Seminary and is now a full-time pastor of the First Baptist Church of Weaverville .

German dubbing voice

Underwood never got a permanent dubbing voice, among others Gerald Schaale ( love whispering ), Mario Hassert ( Road to Redemption ), Björn Schalla ( The Invisible Kid - dubbing: 1992), Gerald Paradies ( Emergency Room ) or Nicolas König ( alone with Uncle Buck ).
