Jean-Daniel Dätwyler (born April 12, 1945 in Villars-sur-Ollon ) is a former Swiss ski racer . He only drove downhill .

In the Ski World Cup Daetwyler won two races. He finished twice in second and third place. There are also 20 further placements among the top ten. His greatest success was winning the downhill bronze medal at the 1968 Winter Olympics . Datwyler ended his career in February 1972. Today he runs a sports shop in Villars-sur-Ollon.
