Villars-sur-Ollon is a winter and summer health resort in the political municipality of Ollon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland with 1245 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).
The place is at 1300 m above sea level. M. and 900 meters above the Rhone Valley in the Chablais region .
Villars can be reached via roads from Ollon and Bex from the Rhone Valley and has been connected to the rail network with the Bex-Villars-Bretaye Railway since 1901 . There is a direct road connection to Les Diablerets via the Col de la Croix , although this is only open in the summer months.
The hockey club Villars HC won two Swiss championships in 1963 and 1964.
