Jean-Pierre Guingané

Daogo Jean-Pierre Guingané (born December 31, 1947 in Garango , Upper Volta , today Burkina Faso ; † January 23, 2011 in Ouagadougou ) was a literary scholar, theater director and actor and author from the West African state of Burkina Faso.

Guingané studied modern literature in Ouagadougou and Bordeaux and has been a professor at the University of Ouagadougou since 2001 . He was also the Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the International Theater Institute .
