Jean-Yves Escoffier
Jean-Yves Escoffier (born July 12, 1950 in Lyon , France , † April 1, 2003 in Los Angeles , California ) was a French cameraman .
Life
Jean-Yves Escoffier studied cinematography at the renowned French film school École Louis-Lumière . He has been a cameraman in numerous Leos Carax films , including Boy Meets Girl , The Night Is Young and The Lovers of Pont-Neuf .
On April 1, 2003, Escoffier died of a heart attack in Los Angeles. Most recently he worked on the love story 2046 . His work was finished by Christopher Doyle .
