Jean Joseph Clam (* 1958 ) is a French philosopher , sociologist and psychologist , researcher at the Center national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) in Paris . He teaches at EHESS-CADIS (center d'analysis et d'interventions sociologiques UMR 8039, EHESS-CNRS, Paris). Clam's research concerns the sociology and psychology of intimacy , legal theory (especially on Niklas Luhmann ) and a general theory of social and human sciences .
