Jean Eyeghe Ndong
On January 20, 2006, Ndong succeeded Jean-François Ntoutoume Emane . He was installed by President Omar Bongo after his re-election in December 2005. Ndong has since left the ruling party and is in opposition to Ali Bongo. In November 2011 he called for a boycott of the controversial parliamentary elections in Gabon in 2011 , which, as expected, ended with an overwhelming victory for the ruling party.
