Paul Biyoghé Mba

Paul Biyoghé Mba (born April 18, 1953 in Donguilla , Equatorial Guinea ) is a politician from Gabon .

Life

Biyoghé Mba was born in Donguilla in 1953 . After finishing school, he studied economics at the University of Rennes I in France . From 1977 to 1980 he served on the board of the Gabonese Development Bank . He then held political responsibility from 1980, from 1990 as a member of the parliament of Gabon and in the following years in the 1990s he held various ministerial posts in the government of Gabon. On February 27, 1994, he left the government and resigned from the Parti Démocratique Gabonais (PDG). He founded the Common Development Movement (MCD) party and was re-elected as a member of the Gabonese parliament. Biyoghé Mba became Prime Minister of Gabon in July 2009 after the death of Omar Bongo .
