Jean Morin (painter)

Jean Morin (* around 1590 in Paris ; † buried June 6, 1650 there ) was a French painter and etcher .

He was a student of Philippe de Champaigne . Morin's works include etchings based on the works of his teacher, van Dycks , Raffael and Titian . He is considered an important reproduction engraver of the 17th century.
