Jean Whitehead

Jean Whitehead (born June 20, 1937 ) is a former British long jumper and sprinter .

In 1958 she was starting for Wales at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff fourth in the long jump; over 100 yards , 220 yards and with the Welsh 4-by-110-yard relay she was eliminated in advance. At the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm , she was ninth in the long jump.
