Jeanne d'Autremont

Jeanne Marie Nancy d'Autremont (born May 23, 1899 in Brest as Jeanne de Martel , † November 4, 1979 in Paris ) was a French chess player .

She took part in six French women's chess championships , winning the title of French champion, awarded to the best French citizen at the championship, in 1928 and 1929 as second behind the Russian Paulette Schwartzmann and in 1932 as shared first with the Italian Alice Tonini has been. At the 1933 World Chess Championship for women in Folkestone, she was last.

In 1926 she married Lucien Bridet d'Autremont in Paris.
