Jee Yong-ju , also Ji Yong-Ju (* 19th December 1948 in Wonju , † 25. August 1985 ibid) was a South Korean boxer in the flyweight and silver medalist at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City .

The approximately 1.58 m tall Jee Yong-ju took part in the light flyweight (up to 48 kg) at the Olympic Games in Mexico in 1968 and surprisingly reached the final after he faced Douglas Ogada from Uganda (TKO), Viktor Zaporozhets from the Soviet Union (3: 2), Alberto Morales from Mexico (3: 2) and Hubert Skrzypczak from Poland (4: 1). In the fight for the gold medal he was defeated by Francisco Rodríguez from Venezuela (2: 3).

At the Asian Games in Bangkok in 1970 , he won the flyweight gold medal . After his active career, he became a coach and briefly supervised the South Korean national boxing team. In August 1985 he died as a result of a knife attack.
