Jeff Andrus

Jeffery Hughes Andrus , pronunciation: ændrəs , (born March 19, 1947 in King City , California , † March 27, 2011 in Coeur d'Alene , Idaho ) was an American screenwriter and writer .

Life

Jeffrey Hughes Andrus received his bachelor's degree from Stanford University , where he studied English under Wallace Stegner and Nancy Packer . He then studied at the University of California Film School , Los Angeles . In 1971 he won the Samuel Goldwyn Creative Writing Competition with the script for the comedy Doc . He became a freelance writer and worked in various functions in the film business. In addition to advising and revising scripts, the television drama All Together Now broadcasted his first film script in 1975 . TV films such asThe Goldsmith's Shop and The Beaten Man . In parallel, Andrus also wrote books, including the two mystery novels Tracer, Inc. and Neighborhood Watch .
