Jeffrey "Jeff" Job (born April 21, 1963 ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player and current coach .

Career

player

The attacking player Jeff Job moved to the German regional league team Herford EG in 1986 and one year later became runner-up behind the ERC Westfalen Dortmund with his team . In the subsequent qualifying round, the challenge of promotion to the Oberliga Nord succeeded . Despite the sporting relegation, to which Job contributed 94 goals in 45 games, the club voluntarily withdrew its team to the Regionalliga West at the end of the season. Jeff Job then moved to the upper division EHV Wesel , for whom he scored 168 goals in two years. In 1990 Jeff Job returned to Herford EG and rose with his team to the Oberliga Nord at the end of the season. During the 1991/92 season job moved to the English club Lee Valley Lions . In 1995 Jeff Job returned to Germany and from then on played for the Berlin ice-skating club , with which he was promoted to the third-class 2nd division North in 1997 and just missed the march into the 1st division a year later. In the 1998/99 season he let his career at the Rostock EC end.

Trainer

In the 2009/10 season job led the U-18 team of the WSV Sterzing Broncos to the Italian championship and also worked as an assistant coach of the senior team playing in the second-rate Serie B. From 2011 to 2013 Jeff Job was assistant coach at HC Innsbruck . In the 2015/16 season Job was the head coach of the AHC Vinschgau - Val Venosta in the Italian Serie B. In 2016, Jeff Job returned to the Herford EV in the Regionalliga West and led the team to the championship in 2018 and 2019.
