Jeff Madrigali, the member of The San Francisco Yacht Club is, participated in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta as a skipper with Jim Barton and Kent Massey as crew members of the US boat the Soling class part. After ten races in the Fleet Race , they qualified with 36 points in second place directly for the semi-finals, which, like the rest of the final round, was held in the Match Race .
