Jefferson Cardoso dos Santos (born February 15, 1986 in São Vicente ) is a Brazilian football player on the position of defender .

Career

Jefferson started playing club football at São Vicente AC in his hometown. In 2007 he moved to Jabaquara for the local Atlético Clube in the fourth Brazilian league. 2009 brought Red Bull Brasil to Campinas . With the Brazilian bulls he rose twice in a row to the Primera Divisão Serie A2 . In the summer of 2011, he and his teammate Alex Rafael took part in a trial session at FC Red Bull Salzburg , where they played test matches against Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Olympique Lyon , among others . He knew how to convince and was signed like his colleague Alex Rafael. After Alex Rafael was sent back to Brazil in December, Jefferson also went back to Red Bull Brasil in February 2012 at his own request, after only 8 Bundesliga games, where he was immediately sold to Ituano FC .
