Elena Motalova
Jelena Motalova ( Russian Елена Моталова , English transcription Yelena Motalova; born January 28, 1971 ) is a former Russian obstacle and long-distance runner .
In 1999 she finished 53rd on the short distance at the World Cross Country Championships in Belfast . In the same year she became Russian champion over 3000 m obstacle with the world best time (which was recognized as the first world record in this discipline on January 1, 2000 ) of 9: 48.88 min and won the Murten run .
