Jelena Anatoljewna Tschurakowa
Jelena Anatoljewna Tschurakowa ( Russian Елена Анатольевна Чуракова ; born December 16, 1986 in Kungur ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in the 400-meter hurdles .
In 2009 she took part in the World Championships in Berlin, where she was eliminated in the semi-finals. Two years later she reached the finals at the World Championships in Daegu and was eighth. In 2012, Churakova ran at the European Championships in Helsinki in a personal best of 54.78 seconds in fifth place. At the Olympic Games in London, however, she did not reach the final.
In a doping test in 2013, Churakova found testosterone among other things . She was then banned for two years.
