Yelisaveta Vyacheslavovna Malashenko ( Russian Елизавета Вячеславовна Малашенко ; born February 26, 1996 in Tolyatti ) is a Russian handball player .

Career

Malashenko initially ran for the Russian first division club GK Lada Tolyatti . She won the EHF Cup with Lada in 2014 . Furthermore, the back court player was in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2016 . For the 2017/18 season she moved to GK Astrachanotschka .

Malashenko won the silver medal with Russia at the U-17 European Championship in 2013 and was also elected MVP . A year later she won the silver medal at the U-18 World Championships and the Summer Youth Olympic Games . With the Russian junior selection, she won the silver medal at the U-19 European Championship in 2015 and the U-20 World Championship in 2016 .

Malashenko is now part of the Russian national team . With the Russian selection, she took part in the 2016 European Championships . After Malaschenko injured himself in the second round match against Romania, the tournament was over for them. She won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships . At the 2019 World Cup , she won the bronze medal with the Russian selection.
