Between 1908 and 1910 he was a student in the painting school of the artist Ernő Tibor . In the same year, 1910, he was given the opportunity to exhibit alongside artists sponsored by the MIÉNK (Hungarian Association of Impressionists and Naturalists) , István Balogh and his teacher in the town hall in Oradea, which led to his talent being confirmed and him received very good reviews from the press. Three years later, in April 1913, he exhibited mainly Italian landscapes from his trip to Italy together with the painter József Bálint . While participating in the First World War as a post officer , the artist fell from the post van while on a mission in the Balkans and suffered a severe forehead fracture . The steel plate used was repelled from the body, so that his brain was only protected by a thin layer of skin. In September 1919, some of Pozsony's works were shown in a group exhibition in his hometown. He also took part in the December 1920 exhibition in Oradea Prefecture . In the first years of the third decade he traveled and painted a lot. After his personal exhibition in the Kornweisz shop in December 1923, he announced that he wanted to travel to Constantinople , where he would also work for a while. After starting the trip in 1924, Pozsonyi traveled to Paris in 1925 and then opened a factory exhibition of his travel impressions in Oradea, again in Kornweisz, in July of the same year . Further trips followed. Together with the painters Ödön Mikes and Roman Paul Mottl , he opened a painting school in 1931. When the Asociația Artelor Frumoase was founded in Oradea, Pozsonyi also took part in the gathering of visual artists and was given a high post, namely that of notary , in the association and participated in its exhibitions in the years up to his death. He contracted the flu during the winter of 1936, but did not take the infection seriously and ultimately died of it.

Reviews

“His visions are always interesting and unique, the landscapes never convey a sense of monotony. (Viziunile sale sunt întodeauna interesante și indetite, peisajele nu last niciodata senzaţie de monotonie.) "
