Jena Mai Hansen (born December 10, 1988 in Holbæk ) is a Danish sailor .

successes

Jena Hansen took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with Katja Salskov-Iversen in the 49erFX boat class . In the final medal race , the two Danes were one of four boats that made the four top placements among themselves. With a third place Hansen and Salskov-Iversen secured the bronze medal behind Martine Grael and Kahena Kunze as well as Molly Meech and Alex Maloney .

At world championships she became world champion with Katja Salskov-Iversen the following year in Porto . In addition, she won the silver medal three times with Salskov-Iversen from 2013 to 2015, before the two became European champions in 2016.
