from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jenna Miscavige Hill (born February 1, 1984 in Concord , New Hampshire , USA) is an American scientology dropout and author.

Life

After leaving Scientology in 2005, she became a critic of the organization. She is the daughter of Ron Miscavige, Jr. and the niece of current Scientology leader David Miscavige .

Hill founded the website exscientologykids.com with Kendra Wiseman and Astra Woodcraft, who also grew up in Scientology families . She was interviewed by a wide variety of media outlets about her experience within Scientology, including ABC's Nightline in April 2008 and on Piers Morgan Tonight in February 2013, speaking on specifics of Scientology.

In 2000, when Hill was 16, her father and mother left Scientology. Hill explained that because of Scientology's ordered disconnection with relatives and friends who do not support or are hostile to Scientology, letters from her parents were intercepted and she was not allowed to answer the phone for a year.

She describes her experience between the ages of five and twelve as follows: “We had to write down all of our transgressions, similar to sin in the Catholic Church . After we wrote them all down, we were checked with an e-meter to make sure we weren't keeping anything to ourselves; we had to write until the device gave the green light. "(" We were also required to write down all transgressions ... similar to a sin in the Catholic religion. After writing them all down, we would receive a meter check on the electropsychometer to make sure we weren't hiding anything, and you would have to keep writing until you came up clean. "She is married and has three children.

In September 2012, she announced that she would describe her life story in her book Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape .
