Jennifer Batu Bawsita (born October 24, 1993 in Montereau-Fault-Yonne ) is a Congolese French hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Jennifer Batu gained her first international experience at the Africa Games 2015 in Brazzaville , where she won the bronze medal behind the Burkinabe Lætitia Bambara and Amy Sène from Senegal with a new national record of 62.13 m . The following year she finished sixth at the African Championships in Durban with 60.00 m and in 2017 she was fourth at the Francophonie Games in Abidjan with 62.79 m. In 2018 she improved her national record to 66.43 m at the African Championships in Asaba , winning the bronze medal behind Moroccan Soukaina Zakkour and Temi Ogunrinde from Nigeria. The following year she was at the Africa Games in Rabat with a width of 54.04 m eleventh.
