Jennifer Podemski (* 1974 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress and film producer .

Live and act

Her father is from Israel and her mother is Saulteaux . Her two sisters Tamara and Sarah are also actresses. Podemski played her first film role in the 1991 television drama Conspiracy of Silence . She took on one of the bigger roles in the drama Dance with a Murderer (1994), in which her sister Tamara also appeared. For her appearance on the television series The Rez in 1996, she was nominated for the 1997 Gemini Award .

In 1998, Podemski and Laura J. Milliken founded the production company Big Soul Productions in Toronto , which produced several films and three seasons of the television series The Seventh Generation . As a producer of the television series Moccasin Flats , which has been broadcast since 2003 and in which she also played one of the roles, she received the second nomination for the Gemini Award in 2006. In 2004, she started her own production company, Redcloud Studios .

Podemski is involved in the work of Canada's National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation as the organizer of the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards .
