The Jennings Reef is a mostly below sea level rock reef in the archipelago of the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands off the west coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . The reef extends immediately south of Adelaide Island from Avian Island to the Rocca Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the reef in 1964 after Ronald Anthony James Jennings (* 1931), helmsman of the Royal Navy ship Quest , which was used to map this area in 1963.
